    Description
    In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. Both are modern facilities to meet the individual needs of the children and young people we support. Both cottages cater for looked after young people aged 5 years upwards.

    Our services are inclusive and accessible to all children and the team provide love, care and support to children and young people within Angus.

    Our residential childcare workers create homely, welcoming environments in which children can develop a sense of emotional safety and belonging.

    Strathmore Centre is a short breaks residential facility which has a specialised remit focusing on supporting children and young people with significant and complex disabilities.

    There has been a considerable investment in residential childcare by Angus Council and we are looking for supply social care officers to support our residential team.

    We are looking for workers with resilience who have the right personal skills and experience to support our young people.

    You may therefore be asked to carry out sleep-in and occasional waking night duties for which an allowance is payable.
