    Job Description Customer Account Manager

    Alexander Steele are working exclusively with a globally successful alcoholic spirits business. The business have a portfolio of market leading brands, and they are enjoying a significant period of growth.

    They are expanding their On Trade sales team.

    Field Based – East Midlands & East Anglia
    Up to £40k + car allow + 20% bonus + benefits


    Key Responsibilities:
    management of a portfolio of customer accounts to meet and exceed budgeted volume and value sales
    distribution of our portfolio and grow rate of sale within a large and diverse customer base, developing robust JBPs/JMPs
    our brands by creating and executing innovative in-outlet activation, striving to secure maximum visibility of our brands
    and develop relationships with key customers and groups within your territory, becoming the go-to supplier
    and educate in outlet team members to deliver perfect serves and collaborate to create new and exciting cocktails, delivering increase ROS
    seek out new business opportunities to grow your on-trade customer base
    and deliver insight to the business on weekly and monthly customer performance, drive action from this and deliver incremental growth
    accurate internal communication to supply team re promotions/activations/changes to distribution are kept up to date
    functional working within the UK business and international departments.
    excellent product knowledge and critically be aware of all market trends across beers wines and spirits


    Experience and skills required:
    2 years' experience in sales, marketing, or related field within the on-trade
    drinks experience and use in cocktails would be advantageous
    and ambitious self-starter with the ability to achieve targets and effectively organise own work schedule
    communication skills (both written and oral)
    commercial/financial understanding, together with intellect and curiosity to interpret performance, recommending appropriate actions
    to manage projects and multi-task whilst building strong and positive relationships at all levels (internal and external)
    managing some key accounts, building strong commercial relationships
    to flourish with minimal guidance, being pro active and able to handle uncertainty
    in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
