We are currently recruiting for a Senior Risk Control Consultant to join our team based in the UK. You will be a strong advocate for Risk Control, giving risk management advise and seeking to become the trusted advisor for our insureds. Travelers Europe currently offers flexibility to employees who wish to work on a hybrid basis in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy. This entails full time employees working three days a week in the office and two days at home (or pro rata for part-time employees). This policy may be changed at the Company's discretion. This role is eligible for a £2500 new joiner bonus. If you are successfully referred by an employee at Travelers Europe, both you and the person who referred you could be eligible for this bonus.

What Will You Do?

• Conducting risk control surveys at client locations to determine potential hazards and risk factors to be considered in underwriting/risk selection. This could involve assessing fire, business interruption, health and safety, motor or products liability exposures.
• Writing technically detailed reports that provide a clear assessment of risk and clearly articulates recommendations.
• Consulting with clients on ways to control hazards in order to reduce or prevent losses.
• Influencing clients to implement recommendations.
• Building and maintaining productive relationships with underwriting and service teams assigned to support the business, with the broker/agent community, with Claims, with other Risk Control staff, and with clients.
• Conducting research for underwriters or clients on class of business, operations, unique or unidentified exposures, or any other technical subject requiring similar analysis.
• Coordinating and overseeing key large accounts and managing large customers relationships.

You'll need;

• Experience in safety, risk control, or related fields including but not limited to construction, manufacturing or relevant military experience or bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Must be able to attain appropriate certification to meet legal requirements where applicable.

• Experience: Likely has a relevant risk management and/or insurance related professional qualification supplemented by knowledge gained through on the job experience.

• Retirement: Travelers will make a basic contribution of 9% of pensionable salary to your Group Personal Pension Plan ("GPPP"). If you decide to contribute an additional amount from your salary, you will receive an increased company contribution up to a maximum of 3%. This would bring the total company contribution to 12%.
