    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Lead to oversee quality management across our construction projects. The Quality Lead will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing quality plans, procedures, and controls to ensure the delivery of high-quality Modular accommodation. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of quality management principles, construction processes, and regulatory requirements, along with strong leadership and communication skills.

    Location: Caulside Drive, Co. Antrim

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develop comprehensive quality plans for construction projects, outlining quality objectives, standards, procedures, and controls.
    • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to integrate quality requirements into project plans and schedules.
    • Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and protocols to monitor and evaluate construction activities, materials, and workmanship.
    • Oversee inspections and audits to assess compliance with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
    • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes to address both internal and external quality issues and non-conformities promptly and effectively.
    • Provide guidance and support to project teams on quality-related matters, including interpreting standards, resolving technical issues, and implementing best practices.
    • Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on quality management principles, procedures, and tools.
    • Monitor and analyse quality performance metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Coordinate third-party inspections and certifications as required by regulatory agencies or project specifications.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related inquiries, concerns, and feedback from clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.

    Person Specification:

    Qualifications, Experience & Attitude:

    • Preferred – Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, quality assurance, or a related field. (candidates with demonstrated experience and a lesser qualification will be considered)
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality management role in the manufacturing or construction industry.
    • Thorough knowledge of quality management principles, construction methods, materials, and building codes/regulations.
    • Experience developing and implementing quality plans, procedures, and controls.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues effectively.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Extensive experience in implementing and maintaining quality management systems.
    • Proficiency in using quality management tools and software applications.
    • Willingness to travel to project sites as required (UK & Ireland).
