    Job Description

    A multi-billion dollar AUM global hedge fund are looking to make a newly created 'HR Director' hire for its rapidly expanding London office.


    Working in a developed HR function, the hire will perform a HR Business Partner / Generalist role, with a broad remit, however a core focus is for the hire to take ownership for 'Talent Acquisition' within this remit, on a global scale, with business strategy / 'sourcing strategy' key, working closely with managing partners of the firm.

    The remit extends to major initiatives, developing new hiring programmes for example. The generalist remit includes managing HR reporting, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits etc for specific areas of the business.

    Project work, working alongside the wider HR team, also forms a key part of the role - enhancing existing processes is a continuous task, however branding, online presence + DEI have an important focus.


    The ideal candidate will ideally have circa 10yrs+ HR experience (albeit an outstanding individual with less experience looking for a step up could also be suitable), preferably within a financial services firm, with extensive 'talent' experience (either as part of a broader remit or a specialised talent remit).

    A CIPD qualification is preferred, but not a necessity (the firm are happy to fund a CIPD/IMC/CFA qualification). Candidates should ideally have a strong academic profile.


    There is no set base salary band for the role – my client will instead focus on providing the successful candidates with a strong increase on his/her current base.

    A top performer will receive a large % of their base as an annual bonus.
