    Job Description & Summary

The Risk Executive Team has an exciting opportunity to be part of the team that supports the Risk Executive in implementing the LoS strategy.

The Risk Vision is "We will be pioneers in a world of changing risk. Working together with our clients to find new ways to secure value and navigate uncertainty with confidence.

At the heart of our business are diverse teams with the right ambition, skills and technology to solve complex problems together and do the work that really matters."

This is underpinned by four ambition statements:

    • To have a positive impact on society
    • To be a place where you can thrive
    • To be the first choice brand
    • To be a £bn business

You'll be part of the team that is driving these ambitions forwards across the business, in turn working towards the Risk Vision. This is an opportunity for the right individual to significantly broaden their understanding of what Risk does and xLoS capabilities and work alongside senior stakeholders to drive the LoS forward.

    The role will involve:

    • Supporting the execution of the Risk Strategy and the key projects that underpin it
    • Preparing communications for the Risk practice including Currents posts, videos and emails
    • Updating the Risk Google site to support and promote our strategy
    • Being involved in running the monthly Risk live streams including stakeholder management and Q&A support
    • Being involved in the project management and the design of key Risk meetings, such as the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the Regional Risk Roadshows
    • Project coordination and attending meetings to understand requirements, delivery timescales, supporting actions and regular interaction with the project team
    • Working collaboratively with other Risk leadership support teams to drive priorities
    • Working closely as an integral member of the stakeholder's team, developing a strong working relationship with the Executive Assistant, supporting the delivery of their objectives and empowered to draw upon appropriate resources to meet delivery timelines

Key skills required for the role include:

    • A high level of self management and personal responsibility
    • Strong prioritisation skills with the ability to support multiple projects which might have conflicting priorities
    • Excelling influencing and communication skills
    • Ability to work proactively
    • High levels of confidentiality and resilience due to the nature of the role

We work in a changing world which offers great opportunities for people with diverse backgrounds and experiences. We seek to attract and employ the best people from the widest talent pool, as well as those who reflect the diverse nature of our society. We aim to encourage a culture where people can be themselves and be valued for their strengths. Creating value through diversity is what makes us strong as a business and as an organisation with an increasingly agile workforce.

PwC, as an employer, offers the opportunity for blended working. Individuals are empowered and can decide the most effective working pattern on any given day including working location. It's our commitment to empower our people to work in a way that works best for them, whilst being mindful of the needs of our stakeholders. Under The Deal 40-60% of time will be spent co-located with colleagues in an office or on a client site.
