    Description

    Location:

    We operate a flexible, hybrid working environment with the candidate required to travel to a local Arqiva office up to twice a week.

    Occasional visits to our Winchester office will also be required.
    This role is a permanent opportunity

    You will be the SME in your chosen technology field, whilst also appreciating and contributing to the allied technology stack we support.

    Participate in the day-to-day workload of the team, utilising Agile methodologies such as Kanban and Scrum.
    Provide BAU and Project support to the Digital Delivery team, ensuring availability and reliability of the Platform.
    Multi-Domain support including AD, ADFS, Group Policy, Certification Services and M365 services.
    Provide SaaS/PaaS Microsoft Platform lifecycle support to the various hosted product owners.

    Provide day-to-day monitoring of the Platform(s) utilizing tooling such Aria Operations, Solarwinds, Aria Log Operations for Logs and Aria operations for networks.

    Utilize tool such as WSUS, SCCM, VUM, AOS to provide server/host patching and remediation.
    Act as a senior member of the team, mentoring and assisting Platform Engineers with your technical expertise.
    Managing and responding to incidents and requests, reviewing these for enhancements to our proactive monitoring and service offerings.


    Driving Licence:
    Experience of supporting Enterprise IT Platforms either on-premises or in the Public Cloud (AWS/Azure).
    Windows Server Management (2008 – Onwards).
    Good knowledge of Active Directory/Entra ID, Group Policy and DNS.
    Redhat Linux or other Distro exposure.
    Scripting Knowledge, Powershell or Python preferred.
    Cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS.
