- Fantastic opportunity for a commercially orientated Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Manager with a strong background within the plastic injection moulding industry

- Candidates MUST HAVE technical knowledge of injection moulding and demonstrable experience of technical sales / BD within the plastics industry
- As Business Development Manager you will develop and execute account plans to achieve agreed sales targets / revenues, expand customer base and maintain competitiveness
- In the role of Business Development Manager you will work closely with the Head of Sales to ensure all quotes follow the defined costing process and ensure that the commercial requirements of the company are complied with
- Undertake direct Account Management responsibilities on selected Key Accounts as directed by the Head of Sales
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service before, during and after the customer's requirements are met
- Identify opportunities and services for new business opportunities that meet the design and manufacturing capabilities of the business
- Ensure the timely delivery of accurate visit reports and updates to CRM
- Actively participating in and contributing to the NPI process
- Representing the company and exhibiting at industry exhibitions and networking events
- Must have previous experience in technical sales / business development in the plastic moulding industry
- Good understanding of polymers and the injection moulding industry
- Experienced with CRM reporting systems
- Experience selling plastic products across a range of industry sectors
- Proficient in preparing costed quotes
- Prior experience in account management and planning
- Excellent communication / presentation skills
- Ability to drive the sales process and strategy from plan to action
- Ambitious and highly self-motivated
