    Description
    Our client is a privately owned, multi-discipline, entrepreneurial group who's operations include Warehousing, Logistics, Investment and Retail.     You will be a commercially focused, qualified accountant, an exceptional stakeholder manager that can partner key areas of the Group to provide commercial financial/business support to increase profitability, while protecting the company's assets and ensuring internal controls are maintained.

    You will - Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with senior managers and their teamsInterpret and communicate financial data to non-financial stakeholdersTo perform a senior business partner role to operational management and be an integral part of their management team(this will incorporate regular visits to sites)Review and assist with commercial business tendersPrepare and analyse monthly management accounts, to an agreed timescaleProvide detailed insight into variancesLiaise closely with operational managementPrepare and present a monthly site financial performance report at the Business ReviewCoordinate the budget/forecasting process in line with the company's deadlines and proceduresOffer professional judgement on financial matters to sites and advising on ways to improve business performanceAppraise capital projects for financial viability and return on investmentReconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain controls/accuracy of financial systemsSupport the design and delivery of new reports and models as requiredPreparation of year-end audit information as requiredSupport the preparation of the annual statutory accounts.

    Any other duties where necessary for business continuityKey skills - Advanced Excel skillsGood Microsoft office skillsGood interpersonal skills and comfortable presenting to DirectorsAble to be persuasive in highlighting your pointAble to build strong relationships with non-financial managersAble to manage and prioritise workload in a dynamic environmentTeam player but self-motivatedYou will need - Qualified Full driving licence (travel to sites will be a requirement)
