    Summary
    A fantastic opportunity at a global company working in the education sector.

    Reporting into the Group Financial Controller this role leads the acquisition finance function and plays a vital role in integrating newly acquired entities into the group.

    The Client

    A highly acquisitive private equity backed business. Spread over multiple countries, this multi-site business has seen impressive growth over the past few years. With significant growth ahead this role takes a leading role within the acquisition finance team.
    The Role
    Lead the purchase price allocation process for new acquisitions
    Managing the integration team leading on acquisition integration
    Integrating new acquisition's finance activities in line with group accounting policies and commercial strategy
    Work closely with financial reporting team to identify areas to improve quality of accounting policies
    Primary contact for audit of all acquisition accounting matters The Successful Candidate

    Qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA) with minimum 4 years PQE
    A strong background in technical accounting with extensive experience of IFRS
    Any exposure to property utilisation would be highly advantageous
    Industry experience having originally qualified in practice
    Self-sufficient and confidence to lead a function and manage people
    Ideally price purchase allocation experience and exposure to IFRS 3 but not essential What's on offer?

    A competitive salary up to £100,000
    A performance related bonus at 10%
    Hybrid working from the company's central London office (2 days per week on site)
