    Job summary

    Are you looking for a fast paced, marketing role where you can make a real impact?

    We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and proactive marketing and communications manager to join our brand experience team at one of London's largest NHS trusts. You'll be responsible for planning, developing, delivering and measuring the impact of marketing and communications programmes across our private care services.

    With a solid track record in managing multiple marketing programmes simultaneously, you will have experience of leading digital marketing campaigns and a wide range of marketing and communications projects.

    You will be used to producing engaging and accurate content for a range of different platforms and publications both online and offline and you will be comfortable working with suppliers including photographers, copywriters, designers and digital agencies.

    The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be experienced in using content management systems and social media platforms, and understand how to measure the performance of content.

    Main duties of the job

    This is a specialist marketing role, with a primary focus on developing and running marketing campaigns, producing promotional materials and supporting the senior marketing manager to identify and maximise opportunities for growth. Recent projects and areas of focus include relaunching our brand; promoting our maternity and fertility services; and launching a new website. The post is essential at this time, as the Trust seeks to increase growth and income through the Imperial College Healthcare, Private Care service and maximise the impact of targeted marketing campaigns.

    Education / qualifications

    Essential

  • Relevant Master's degree or equivalent marketing and communications knowledge, skills and experience from working in marketing and communications roles at a similar level
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development in marketing and communications
  • Desirable

  • Membership with a recognised marketing or communications professional body.
  • Experience

    Essential

  • Demonstrable experience of developing and implementing effective marketing programmes and campaigns across a range of channels
  • Excellent understanding of current marketing channels, strategies and techniques and their application in the private healthcare sector.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage effective, integrated communications projects including procurement and tendering
  • Experience of managing a budget.
  • Desirable

  • NHS or private healthcare experience
  • Management experience within a complex organisation.

  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and programmes simultaneously.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of marketing and communications best practice and in-depth knowledge of channels across the marketing mix.

  • Strong communication skills and demonstrable ability to influence at all levels within the division and wider Trust.
