Pupil Support Assistant (Enhanced Support Base)
Craigentinny Primary School
Salary: £23,651 - £23,857 (pro rata for part time and sessional)
Hours: 26 per week, 39 weeks sessional
Craigentinny Primary School is a non-denominational school serving the Craigentinny and Restalrig areas of North Edinburgh. The school has a current roll of around 320 children with two additional Enhanced Support classes.
We are looking to recruit two committed, enthusiastic Enhanced Support Pupil Support Assistants to make a contribution to the development and delivery of high quality education at Craigentinny Primary. There are two classes and the successful candidates will be working with children who have a diagnosis of autism. There are up to 7 children in each class which are staffed by the Teacher, Nursery Nurse and a Pupil Support Assistant. Previous experience of working in Special Education is desirable.
