    Default job background
    Description

The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is committed to providing healthcare at its best, with people at our heart.

We have over 2 million patient contacts each year in our main hospitals, making us one of the biggest providers of specialist care in the UK, and we serve people from across the whole of the North East, North Cumbria and beyond.

In addition, as a NED with clinical expertise you will be involved in the work of the Trust Quality Committee.

We are committed to increasing the diversity of our existing Board, and positively improve the balance of people from ethnic minority backgrounds.

To support this, we encourage applications from people in minoritised communities whose background, experience and identity will broaden and enhance a balance of perspectives in navigating the challenges we face going forward.
