    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
    Experience automating infrastructure provisioning, developer operations, or continuous integration, delivery, designing, building, deploying of cloud-based solution architectures.

    Experience with physical and virtual infrastructure, operating systems, or virtualization, and expertise in either Linux/Docker/Kubernetes technologies or Windows and Active Directory environments.

    Experience with deployment and orchestration technologies (e.g., Experience in system administration tasks in Linux or Unix.
    Experience designing, building, and deploying scalable cloud-based solutions.
    Familiarity with standard IT security practices (e.g., Ability to work on a team to design processes, implement strategic projects that solve business problems, lead or work effectively with cross-functional groups and execute in a customer-focused environment.

    As an Infrastructure Operations Engineer, you will be part of a team of engineers that deploys and operates our private cloud services for customers.

    You will be deploying new infrastructure as our deployments scale, rolling out new features and updates, troubleshooting problems, and managing incidents.

    You will work with local support staff to help them with challenging problems and you will reach back into Google's product teams for help where you need it.

    You will troubleshoot technical problems with a mix of debugging, networking, system administration and coding/scripting skills.

    Build, configure, and deploy new compute, network, storage and specialist security infrastructure, ensuring correct configuration and bring into service in line with standard playbooks from Google product teams.

    Manage the health and performance of the environment using observability tools, carrying out maintenance and updates to roll out new features and keep the platform secure.

    Provide highly technical implementation support in customer environments, including guidance on implementation feasibility of cross-product integrations.
