    the Role

    Founded in 5, Christie & Co is the largest firm of specialist business agents and valuers in the UK with offices and a further across continental Europe. Our core services are the valuation and sale of trading businesses across the Healthcare, Hospitality and Retail sectors.

    There has recently been a surge in market activity and to respond to this, we are now looking for a dynamic agent to join our team, based in our Manchester office and working mainly across the North West of England.

    It is likely that you will have been working in property sales or a similar environment for at least a year. Our experienced team will provide all the training and support you will need to be a successful Hotel agent in this niche and competitive market.

    Duties and Responsibilities​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

  • Assisting senior colleagues with the management of business sales as part of a project team
  • Once you have gained an understanding of the Hotel sector, you will be responsible for a variety of meetings including 'inspections' (client pitches) with business owners, liaising with sector professionals/introducers, delivering presentations and attending exhibitions & conferences.
  • Preparing marketing literature, managing enquiries from interested parties, encouraging offers and negotiating sales
  • Progressing sales by liaising with key contacts, including solicitors
  • Providing ongoing advice to clients to ensure a successful outcome
  • Developing your own portfolio of business sales across the region
  • Networking with fellow professionals, industry contacts and influencers
  • Working as part of our motivated team to enhance our reputation and profile UK wide
