Part-Time Respiratory Nurse – Thames Avenue Surgery
Salary: negotiable, dependent on experience
Thames Avenue Surgery have a position available for an experienced Respiratory Nurse to join their very friendly team. With flexible hours and a very strong supportive team consisting of 3 part-time nurses, and experienced HCA and also an Assistant Practitioner, this is a wonderful opportunity to join a very forward thinking and high achieving practice, which is always focused on retaining that family doctor feel. The most recent National GP survey results has ranked Thames Avenue Surgery in the Top 10 practices in Kent which we are extremely proud of, and we have been rated 'Good' in our recent CQC inspection back in June 2023.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POST:
To work within our Nursing Team providing predominately COPD disease management reviews but having some general practice experience would be a welcomed advantage.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POST:
Must hold an RGN qualification/registration & have a valid NMC pin
COPD qualifications/extensive experience in Asthma/COPD
DESIRABLE BUT 'NOT ESSENTIAL' REQUIREMENTS OF THE POST:
Able to carry out Spirometry to ARTP standard
General Nursing duties such as cytology, immunisations, vaccinations, contraception
Non-medical prescribing
The hours of work are negotiable and we can offer flexibility around how hours are split, and the salary will also be based on experience, and discussed at interview stage.
