    Description

    Job Description:

    The UK Marketing Manager – London is responsible for supporting local marketing efforts in the area they are in. They will be responsible for translating the EMEA marketing strategy, executing it and working with local connectors and the internal Foot Locker team to optimize it throughout the year.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Leads "Brand Distinction" initiatives across Culture of Sports & Sneaker Culture
    • Facilitates content creation (campaign based, event based, SOME)
    • Translates and localize EMEA marketing strategies (Campaign/Retail/PR/Social Media)
    • Leads the programming of experiences and events in the market, in collaboration with HQ
    • Continually assess and capture local Sneaker Culture ecosystem. Actively participates in culture
    • Works in collaboration with EMEA market research to understand & act on consumer insights.
    • Supports the execution of Vendor & Brand campaigns throughout all consumer touchpoints
    • Manages local partnerships across consumers passion points (fashion, music, food, art, sports, gaming, other)

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.
    • Must have connections in the local market and with a deep understanding of the community and what makes the market thrive.
    • Being ingrained in the local market sneaker culture, basketball/football and know the voice of our core sneakerhead consumers is highly preferred
    • Ability to act as a leader, work well independently and remotely from team leader and peers.
    • Strong knowledge of sneaker culture, fashion trends, music, sports required.
    • Experience within marketing, brand management, content creation, retail and/or similar background preferred.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in events or local connectivity marketing.
    • Retail experience a plus.
    • Local to the market they are supporting
    • Experience with social channels and trends.
