    About Skyports

Founded in 2018, Skyports is an Advanced Air Mobility company developing and operating landing infrastructure for the electric air taxi revolution, as well as using drones for a variety of business requirements.

Our business is comprised of two entities.

Skyports Drone Services where we use drone technology to enable businesses to develop their logistics, capture key data, and improve operational efficiency. We are active in the rural deliveries, survey, surveillance and maritime verticals.

Skyports Infrastructure where we play a critical role in the Urban Air Mobility ecosystem; designing, building, owning, and operating vertiports that enable eVTOL operators to take off and land in and around cities across the world.

We are positioned in a new industry where it has never been a more exciting time to be at the forefront of a modern, high-growth organisation.

    Role Description

As Training Manager | Drones, you can expect to cover the following activities and responsibilities:

    Training Needs Analysis

    Curriculum Development

    • Create a comprehensive training curriculum that covers all aspects of operating and maintaining drones across a range of operating environments around the world. This will include generic ground school modules on flight safety, navigation, etc. as well as technical and operational training, including theory, simulations, mission planning, and operational execution.

    Technology Training

    • Stay up to date with the latest drone technology and software that can enhance training.

    Geographical an Environmental Training

    • Depending on the service areas, provide training on the unique geographical and environmental challenges that drone operators may encounter, such as extreme weather conditions, restricted airspace, or challenging terrains.

    Customer Service Training

    • Develop customer service and communication skills for drone operators, especially in the case of drone delivery services where interaction with customers may be required.

    Continuous Learning

    • Establish a culture of continuous learning and improvement, encouraging drone operators and other flight operations staff to stay updated with changes to training, updates in technology, operational lessons learnt, etc.

    Assessments and Certifications

    • Implement regular assessments and evaluations strategy to ensure that trainees are meeting the required standards. Provide certifications upon successful completion of training and maintain the Training Management System to accurately reflect staff training records.

    Documentation and Reporting

    • Maintain detailed records of training programs and performance evaluations. Generate regular reports to monitor the progress of trainees and identify areas that may need further attention.

    Collaboration with External Partners
