    THE ROLE JTI United, our sister agency, are looking for an Account Director to join their team and work with their international tobacco client.

    You will be leading day-to-day client's communication, strategy and creative development, execution, and production. Your main goal upon starting, will be working on next year activities – strategy, communication, and creative development. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESLeading the account and taking responsibility for developing the client-agency relationship.
    Working with strategy to develop briefs that meet business needs in an effective and accountable way.

    Ensuring the profitability and growth of the accountIdentifying, developing and converting new business opportunitiesNegotiating contracts and fees with Marketing Directors and client procurement personnel, normally with senior finance team members.

    Managing the work, performance, and professional development of an Account Manager, for example their appraisal and making sure that the agreed actions from this review are carried out by the appraisee and the agency.

    Leading and inspiring those outside of the core team, including creative teams and those in other agencies working on the same account.

    Reporting key financial data to the agency's senior leadership and finance department.

    Maintaining a detailed awareness of relevant market trends affecting their accounts, and developments in the wider advertising and communications industry.

    Ensuring all important information is safely stored and backed up. Maintaining up to date client account information.
    Preparing and attending pitches and other meetings with key clients.
    Helping with competitor review analysis and able to appreciate what makes a campaign effective.
    Participating in recruitment and selection decisions.

    Able to take ownership of projects and make effective decisionsFocused on the personal and professional development of their teamGood at evaluating creative work; able to give and receive feedback to support its developmentHave previously worked with restricted categories (E.g., tobacco, alcohol, pharma) – optional.
