    Social Media and Influencer Director

    Location: Leeds - Hybrid
    Salary: £60,000 - £65,000

    ThePlaceToBe is excited to collaborate on the recruitment of a Social Media Director for a reputable local creative agency. This agency is part of a network of leading marketing agencies and holds a strong position in the industry with a portfolio of well-known clients. The role offers the opportunity for an experienced individual in the Social Media field to lead and inspire the existing and future Social teams towards even greater success.

This role will be within the creative division of the group, allowing the right candidate to collaborate closely with other agencies to ensure alignment on common objectives.

    About the role...
    The role involves overseeing the existing Social team, which includes Senior Social Media Managers, Social Media Managers, and Executives. As the face of the agency, you will be responsible for communicating updates to the board and senior leadership. Your primary focus will be to develop the overall strategy for the Social team, including client-specific success plans and contributions to the agency as a whole. The role encompasses both Paid and Organic social strategies, with a strong emphasis on working with influencers.

    You will lead the implementation of strategies, plans, and actively participate in the execution of work. Supporting and motivating the team to reach their potential is a key aspect of the role. What sets this role apart is the agency's passion for its people and business, a trait that the successful candidate must embody.

    About you...
    You should have extensive experience in the Social Media industry, with a deep understanding of Paid and Organic strategies. Your adaptability to the evolving Social Media landscape, trend awareness, and platform expertise are crucial. Your track record should demonstrate success with high-profile accounts and various Social techniques, earning trust from clients and organizations. Your success not only lies in client work but also in internal contributions, such as team growth and agency reputation.
