    21 per hour to £18.58 per hour in accordance with the NALC scales dependant upon qualifications and experience

    Chobham Parish Council is seeking a part-time Parish Clerk and Responsible Finance Officer who manages its administration, personnel and finances.

    The position is 21 hours per week and is based at the Parish Council Office located at the Recreation Ground, Chobham.

    Attendance is required at around 18 evening meetings per year.

    The successful candidate will have good verbal and written skills, be computer literate and have the ability to work on their own initiative.

    The role requires strong financial skills including experience of budgeting, book-keeping and year end audit. Experience of using an accounting software package is desirable. The Clerk manages 3 members of staff, the Parish Administrator, the Planning Co-Ordinator and the Caretaker.

    This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and community-minded individual who is committed to work with Councillors for the benefit of its residents.

    21 per hour to £18.58 per hour is in accordance with the NALC scales dependant upon qualifications and experience.

    The Council offers a contributory pension scheme with NEST.
