    We provide full training and continuous development to help you reach your potential. We are currently recruiting for a Principal Engineering Manager to join our UK design team.

    As a Principal Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the management and leadership of a design team including project financial responsibility.

    The position is required to support our expanding Water Utilities workload and will typically involve providing designs for water and wastewater; infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects.

    This will include design delivery at all stages, from feasibility and optioneering through to detailed designs for construction and commissioning.

    The specific role is required primarily to support our Severn Trent, United Utilities and Northumbrian Water frameworks; however, there will be ample opportunities to work on other projects and frameworks throughout the UK for a variety of clients.

    This is a permanent position and will be of a hybrid nature ideally based in or around our Durham office; however, we are open to receiving applications from candidates from across the UK to be based at one of our other regional offices or on a remote basis.

    Identifying the scope of projects and incorporating them into a priced program of work
    # Overseeing all design aspects across the project lifecycle to meet time, cost, and quality metrics
    # Being the single point of contact for projects
    # Providing guidance on best methods and practices to meet technical and project requirements
    # Planning and managing all project design requirements
    # Collaborating with stakeholders regarding project matters and providing technical reports, permits, responses to queries, etc., Tendering and meeting project requirements, and preparing fee estimates
    # Performing administration reporting to line management including monitoring structural design program delivery, resources, and budgets
    # Inspiring team members to deliver first-class project performance

    A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent
