    Finance Manager - CleanTech - VC backed Scale Up

    Full Time - Permanent - Hybrid Working

    Salary - £65,000 - £70,000 + Excellent Benefits

    TalentEdge are searching for a high quality Finance Manager ideally with a background in CleanTech/SustainabilityTech to join a hugely progressive VC backed scale up in the market on a permanent basis.

    This a hugely exciting opportunity for someone at this level with start up/scale up experience who is looking to join a business with a greater purpose to make a positive social impact, as this is at the heart of my client's values

    This role will be pivotal in taking the lead across all financial reporting, controls and analysis functions. You will be reporting into a highly experienced CFO who will give you exposure to the more commercial elements of the business as well as working closely with an impressive senior leadership team.

    Core duties will include:

    • Leading across the finance function, ensuring full accuracy on reporting and on-time delivery.
    • FP preparation of annual budgets and forecasts. Developing narrative behind budgetary performance
    • Strategic commercial finance; managing strategic financial operations to align with overall business objectives
    • Leading on the annual audit process, ensuring seamless direct communication with external auditors
    • Preparing and distributing management information packs
    • Providing financial analysis and insight
    • Overseeing vendor payment process
    • Cashflow management and forecasting

    The person:

    • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) ideally with at least 1-2 years PQE in a similar role
    • Strong knowledge and understanding of technical accounting principles (UK GAAP and IFRS)
    • Experience in financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Proven audit experience
    • Proactive mindset, strong attention to detail and will thrive in a fast-paced environment
