    Description

    Youth Theatre Arts Scotland (YTAS) is recruiting for a project coordinator to join our team. This role will support the development and delivery of 'Next Generation', a new programme for early career youth theatre practitioners aged This position will suit someone who is excited by the prospect of creating new opportunities for young people interested in pursuing a career in youth theatre, and who has a confident 'can do' attitude.

    Over the course of 12 months, you will coordinate the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Next Generation programme. Your role will involve recruiting participants, delivering training in youth theatre facilitation and youth theatre practice, co-hosting employment skills development sessions with external partners, mentoring young people and coordinating work experience opportunities.

    We are looking for someone who is skilled and experienced in; youth theatre practice, facilitating and mentoring groups of diverse young people, and building rapport and relationships. Experience of monitoring and evaluating impact will also be essential to your success in this role.
