    Regional Marketing Lead EMEA - London, United Kingdom - Black & Veatch

    Purpose

    In-region marketing primary point of contact – drawing on additional support from colleagues throughout Enterprise Marketing & Communications – for the development, prioritization and management of planned, integrated marketing and communications activity that optimizes growth and sells the full, relevant portfolio of solutions to target BV clients in the EMEA region.

    The role will ideally be based in our Wiesbaden , Germany office. We will also consider applicants based in the UK and able to commute to our London or Glasgow office.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Manage marketing, media and reputation management activities for regional businesses in alignment with Enterprise Marketing & Communications and be the region's marketing and media point of contact, including the primary contact for region leadership.
    • Actively engage regional leaders and sales teams to develop and prioritize marketing plans and materials as part of overall business strategy.
    • Plan and manage integrated marketing and communications campaigns across the region, drawing on the respective resources from within the integrated Enterprise Marketing team.
    • Identify current and future content gaps, working with the Marketing / Region teams to develop and publish content specific to the region.
    • Work with the Digital Marketing & Operations team, build up digital and contact acquisition, lead generation and nurturing capabilities.
    • Collaborate with Events/Associations/ Partnerships function to identify, evaluate, plan, and fulfill events as well as sponsorship, media partnerships, association and advertising activity.
    • Ensure all marketing activities and collateral are on-brand and meet high-quality marketing expectations; all marketing activities in the region must be approved by both Regional Marketing and Enterprise Marketing & Communications leads.
    • Be agile and support account-based and ad-hoc activities including strategic client/event presentations, drawing on global team for guidance and direct involvement.
    • Draw on Regional Marketing lead (and Client Marketing/Solutions Marketing) to support value proposition development and localization.
    • Support the Regional Marketing lead to report on marketing activity outcomes.
    • Plan and control budgets across events, associations, advertising and creative production, seeking opportunities to maximize returns.
    • Engage in development of EMEA region internal / employee communications including written updates and Town Hall meeting coordination.

    Decision Rights

    • Drafts and recommends all planned marketing and media activities, collaborating with Regional Marketing leader and regional business leaders.
    • Aligns marketing plans with overall Enterprise Marketing and regional business strategies.
    • Oversees the execution of marketing activities, aligned to strategies and brand.
    • Manages relevant vendors within region.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree, high level of corporate and/or agency Marketing experience.
    • Demonstrated ability to identify and manage innovative and creative marketing and media activities.
    • Understanding of an integrated marketing mix to support digital and traditional marketing efforts.
    • Full professional fluency in English (C1/2 level)

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Track record of integrated B2B marketing, bonus if this is within the services and/or E&C industry. Includes media relations and reputation management focus, and trade event management.
    • Familiarity defining and differentiate offerings to existing and new clients across an entire portfolio of solutions.
    • Proven ability to demonstrate geographic and cultural awareness and understanding of planned campaigns to reach diverse client types.
    • German language skills are highly desirable
