    We are currently looking for a talented, personable Intern to work with as a Technical Writer.

    Technical writers must be comfortable interacting with colleagues in software development, program and project management, and other technical roles in an Agile development environment.

    Producing high-quality, clear, accurate, and complete documentation within established processes, standards; these documents could include Product Information Guides, User Guides, Installation Guides, Configuration Guides, Administration Guides, Release Bulletins, etc.

    Contributing to policy and procedures documents
    Students from a Technical Writing, Rhetoric, or English program preferred
    Excellent school performance

    Excellent knowledge of content/help authoring tools, such as Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare and Adobe Acrobat would be a bonus.

    Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint)
    Experience writing using a corporate style guide and adhering to documentation processes, standards, and best practices would be advantageous
    Comprehensive understanding of English grammar and syntax
    Experience writing in a structured authoring environment creating single-source content
    Excellent at reviewing documentation written by other writers to ensure clarity, completeness, accuracy, and overall quality standards
    Experience creating documentation for web, mobile, and backend applications
    Ability to meet target deadlines and project commitments
    Ability to communicate clearly with all project stakeholders in distributed locations
