    Overview and Responsibilities

    As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will play a vital role within the payroll department, reporting directly to the Head of Payroll


    Your responsibilities will include:

    Processing two monthly payrolls for over 1,500 employees for our client and their subsidiary, maintaining accuracy and efficiency throughout.

    Collaborating with senior stakeholders to implement process improvements and automation within the payroll function.
    Managing payroll queries from both internal and external sources.
    Handling various payroll-related tasks including SSP, SMP/SPP, salary sacrifices, and pension administration.
    Maintaining relationships with stakeholders and supporting the launch of new initiatives, such as a salary sacrifice pension scheme.

    Skills and Experience Required


    Technical Skills:
    Minimum of 3 years of payroll experience.
    Proficiency with Zellis Resourcelink is essential.
    Previous experience in a fast-paced, in-house payroll environment.
    Advanced Excel skills.


    Soft Skills:
    Collaborative and team-oriented, able to foster strong relationships across departments.
    Highly organized and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
    Flexible, adaptable, and resilient in a dynamic work environment.
    Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
    Detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture.
    Self-motivated and capable of managing time effectively.
    Able to cultivate collaborative relationships with the HR department.

    Location
    Based at the company's headquarters in West London.
    Flexible working arrangements, with a combination of office 3 days a week and remote work 2 days.
