- Receive samples, perform integrity checks and complete all necessary documentation;
- Log samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), managing storage and disposals;
- Laboratory equipment maintenance and associated record keeping;
- Reagent preparation and glass washing;
- Pipette calibrations, maintenance and management;
- Conduct analytical work using appropriate techniques and in accordance with regulatory standards, ISO 17025;
- Act in compliance with the site Health & Safety Policy;
- Maintain a clean, tidy and well-equipped work area, observing any operational regulations.
- Effective time management, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard;
- An enthusiastic and positive attitude, and a willingness to learn;
- An excellent communicator, able to convey written and spoken information accurately and concisely;
- An excellent eye for detail;
- A team worker, able to work flexibly in response to changing priorities and with initiative to bring forward new ideas.
