    Description

    Residential Building manager- Canary Wharf- £55,000pa – DOEOne Property Recruitment have been instructed upon the search for a Residential Building Manager to come and join their high-end Build to Rent scheme in East London.

    This is an exceptional role and will be perfect for someone with at least 3 years high-end residential Building Management experience.


    About the role:


    Within this role, you will supervise staff and contractors, and have the overall responsibility for budget and cost management, health, and safety management, and will be the first point of contact for residents living within this luxurious development.


    Your main responsibilities will consist of:

    • Delivering an exceptional service to residents and being the first point of contact for tenants and clients. You will ensure that the areas within the development are properly maintained.
    • Supervise the concierge team and cleaning staff and ensure that they are hitting all their KPIs.
    • Ensure that you are liaising effectively with the residents and ensure that you are resolving their daily maintenance queries.
    • Ensure that all health and safety obligations and duty care are met effectively and that all routine checks are in place and carried out.
    • Maintenance and testing of all fire and life safety equipment.
    • Liaise with the estate management team on the operation of the park and storage lockers a long with the infrastructure.
    • Monitor as well as chase resident arrears in line with timelines.
    • Conduct routine bi-yearly visits to occupied apartments for the purpose of ensuring compliance with the obligation of tenancy agreements and action any maintenance issues or areas of concern.
    • Oversee end of tenancy agreements and action any maintenance issues or areas of concern.
    • Manage the inventory check in and check out ensuring sufficient documentation of the condition of apartments at the beginning and end of tenancies.

    I am looking for the following skillset/ attributes:

    • Previous experience in high-end residential Property Management for a minimum of 3 years.
    • IRPM level 1 or 2 is desirable
    • knowledge of all health and safety requirements and legislation.
    • Knowledge of section 21 requirements.
    • Great communication skills.
    • Ability to form exceptional relationships with residents, staff, contractors, and other agencies.
    • Excellent IT skills.
