    Description

    This position will be joining the London Finance team, reporting into the Revenue Manager managing the day to day billings for an established Law Firm.

    My client are a Top 60 UK Law Firm, with offices all over the UK, with this position based in City of London.

    They have had some internal movements meaning they are now in need of a Senior Legal Biller to join the team to support.

    As the Senior Legal Biller your responsibilities will include:
    Working with Fee Earners and other members of the business to provide a first class billing service for the firm
    Ensuring any agreed client fee arrangements or billing deadlines are complied with
    Dealing with the requests and queries sent to the Billing team in a timely and efficient manner
    Providing WIP reports and liaising with Fee Earners to maximise their billing revenue
    Investigating legacy issues and providing critical thinking in helping to resolve/dig into problem areas
    Overseeing the Billing team when the Revenue Manager is not available
    Ability to answer all types of billing queries confidently
    Ensuring all financial data is accurately captured in the financial systems
    The successful Senior Legal Biller will have previous experience:

    • Working knowledge of Legal Aid billing
    • Competent in Microsoft Office
    • 15 month FTC
