    Head office Salford Council Swinton, Salford. (Flexible location - office /home based - various client areas in Greater Manchester, Yorkshire, Merseyside,Cheshire, and Wales)

    Salford Technical Audit Services are basedout of Salford City Council, providing a high quality technical IT audit servicefor councils across Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire, NorthWales and Yorkshire; other clients include the Police, Transport Executive andthe Housing Sector.

    An exciting opportunity have arisen for aTechnical Audit Consultant to join our well-established and expanding team.

    Candidates can enjoy the flexibility of ahybrid working environment in managing their own workload, work from centraloffices, work from home and/or work out of specific locations across the region,depending on where they live.

    Workload will, where possible, be allocatedwithin proximity to home aimed at reduced travel time to maximise work-lifebalance.

    Our IT audits vary across clients and we areideally seeking candidates with knowledge in infrastructure IT audits;application audits; and/or project audit work.

    Practical audit experience in risk and controlbased auditing desirable. Although IT professionals with a strong informationsecurity background considering a move in to IT audit will be considered
