Introduction

Our client is seeking an outstanding Registered Children's Manager to join a pioneering social enterprise within the residential care sector. This initiative, stemming from the youth development charity, who are committed to transforming the residential care experience for young individuals by offering a nurturing environment and fostering their long-term prospects.

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape a new venture, with a competitive salary of £51,000 - £51,500 yearly. You'll have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people, while also benefiting from a comprehensive training package that's significantly above current industry standards.

Our client is a recently established residential children's care home, driven by a mission to raise the standards in residential care. They offer a full 360 support service to the young people within their care, including one-to-one mental health support, youth development activities, and school holiday programmes. The company is committed to providing a 'home away from home' environment, and to investing in the best staff to ensure the highest standards of professional development.

As the Registered Children's Manager, you'll be:

Responsible for managing all aspects of running the home.
Ensuring that high levels of educational, emotional, and physical care are provided.
Planning and implementing appropriate activities for the young people.
Ensuring comfortable accommodation and the service of key workers are provided in accordance with Positive Homes Procedures and Policies.
Preparing young people for independent living through short, medium, and long term planned placements.

The ideal person for the Registered Children's Manager role will be:

An exceptional, experienced, and empathetic leader either Deputy or Manager.
Experienced in managing all aspects of running a home.

Skilled in planning and implementing appropriate activities for young people.
Familiar with ensuring comfortable accommodation and the service of key workers are provided in accordance with company Procedures and Policies.
