    Description

    The Business Development Team Lead for Siteimprove is responsible for helping drive the results of a BDR team through recruiting, training, organizing, coordinating, measuring, coaching, problem-solving, and leading, in addition to holding their own individual contributor quota of opportunities personally created and pipeline sourced. The team lead will align BDR goals and activities with our Go-To-Market plans to ensure the company achieves growth targets. This role works closely with sales, marketing, sales enablement, and operation teams to maximize pipeline creation and reports to the Sales Manager Business Development. This role requires a self-starting, proactive, results-oriented individual who is ready to begin their career as a sales leadership professional.

    What you will be doing

    • Help lead a high-performance sales team by executing targeted pipeline goals and exceeding those goals in the emerging business
    • Resolve routine problems and act as the first point of escalation for the team
    • Monitor, review, and coach calls and processes on a weekly basis to ensure that they are following Siteimprove best practices and procedures
    • Perform BDR responsibilities as lead BDR
    • Help recruit, interview, onboard, train, lead BDRs, and grow the team
    • Monitor and refine lead processes, continue to help optimize SFDC, Outreach, and other tools to improve BDRs' productivity
    • Work with sales to optimize pipeline creation and efficient lead handoff
    • Identify target accounts and prospects to effectively pitch Siteimprove Marketing Performance Platform to set meetings with qualified prospects and clients
    • Analyze data to identify trends and communicate appropriate to sales management
    • Promote team's personal development and recommend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills
    • Assist in the development and creation of new sales and marketing ideas
    • Provide recommendations and best practices for emerging online marketing opportunities and tactics that assist in achieving Siteimprove organizational goals
    • Become a business expert by communicating the value of the product to aid in collaborative business partnerships with your team
    • Drive customer focus by understanding and listening to the customer perspective as it relates to their business decisions and activities
    • Promote a positive and professional image of the company at all times
    • Pursue personal development and attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills
    • Travel and attend meetings, conferences, tradeshows, and other company functions necessary to perform duties
    • Keeps current on Siteimprove's product features, advantages, benefits, and selling points
    • Provide support for EMEA and APJ region
    • Performs other related duties as assigned

    What we will require of you

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or related field, or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
    • Minimum 2+ years of sales experience in business development, lead generation, outbound calling, or equivalent

    • Monthly Forecasting accuracy of 85% or greater
    • Ability to mentor team on negotiating and solution-selling strategies to effectively close contracts
