    Description

    Job Title: Manager at a Residential Care Facility

    We are looking for an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Manager. As a Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the facility's operations and ensuring the well-being and development of residents transitioning to semi-independent living.


    Responsibilities:

    • Supervision and Support:
      - Provide attentive supervision and support to residents based on their care plans.
      - Collaborate on tailored support plans to address residents' unique needs.
    • Team Collaboration:
      - Work closely with the team to create a positive working environment.
      - Offer guidance to staff for delivering high-quality care.
    • Resident Empowerment:
      - Encourage residents to develop essential life skills.
      - Create an environment that promotes independence and community engagement.
    • Crisis Management:
      - Assist in handling crises prioritizing resident safety.
      - Implement emergency procedures and communicate with relevant authorities.
    • Administration:
      - Manage administrative tasks and budget for the program.
      - Keep accurate records and reports up to date.
    • Training and Development:
      - Contribute to staff training for better resident support.
      - Stay updated on industry standards for semi-independent living.
    • Quality Assurance:
      - Monitor service quality and suggest improvements.
      - Conduct regular assessments to track residents' progress.
    • Community Engagement:
      - Build relationships with external agencies and community resources.
      - Represent the organization at community events.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in a similar role in residential care.
    • Understanding of challenges faced by individuals transitioning to independent living.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
    • Knowledge of relevant legislation and social care procedures.
    • Familiarity with Ofsted regulations.
