Our teams in the UK/Europe are expanding swiftly, and we are in pursuit of exceptional talent who are passionate and excel in their field, eager to be part of our growth journey. We are seeking professionals with a strong background in one of the specified industry verticals to join our Technology and Consulting Services Practice.

    What You Will Do:

    • Lead phases of the Sales lifecycle as a SPEM/PEM, leveraging your expertise across industry verticals.
    • Manage client relationships, aiming to build a portfolio up to £20M, and oversee the opportunity management cycle.
    • Drive the services agenda, influencing client decisions with your industry insights.
    • Engage in strategic business planning, including market penetration strategies and rigorous market analysis to identify client needs and opportunities.
    • Take the initiative in new client prospecting, identifying key contacts, and developing outreach strategies aligned with VE3's values.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and present compelling proposals, addressing prospective client needs.
    • Lead negotiations and close deals, focusing on win-win outcomes and ensuring smooth transitions to account management.
    • Advocate for market development activities, including collaborative marketing initiatives and industry events to enhance visibility.
    • Build and nurture relationships, establishing VE3 as a trusted partner, and facilitate key introductions to bolster trust and commitment.
    • Monitor and report on sales metrics, refining the sales process for enhanced efficiency and results.
    • Influence client decision-making by demonstrating VE3's capabilities and success in the relevant industry vertical.
    • Conduct targeted research and competitor analysis, developing strategies that align with industry-specific trends and opportunities.
    • Demonstrate deep understanding of contract processes and standards relevant to your industry.
    • Collaborate with Solution Architects and Delivery teams to develop customized solutions that resonate with clients in your industry vertical.
    • Offer insights for forming alliances with product/service vendors that are significant to your industry.

    Qualifications:

    • A proven track record in engineering services sales, particularly within one of the specified industry verticals: Insurance, Healthcare, Retail, Travel, Energy, Public Sector, Telecom, Utilities, Services, or Resources.
    • Expertise in trends and challenges specific to your industry vertical, leveraging this knowledge in technology and content-led selling.
    • Experience engaging with high-level stakeholders and decision-makers within the industry.
    • Familiarity with the unique technological and operational nuances of your industry vertical.
    • A robust understanding of business development, relationship management, and account management within the context of your industry.
    • Over 11 years of experience, with a strong background in sales/relationship management/account management.
    • Significant experience in business development and project management.
    • Proven industry expertise within one of the specified verticals.
    • Demonstrated ability to interact and build relationships with C-level client contacts.
    • Hands-on experience in proposal creation and leading proposal presentations.
    • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Experience in a wide variety of IT and business consulting engagements.
