    What you will be doing

    • This is a technical role, supporting a card-present payment solution, working directly with card payment terminals and the associated back-end systems.
    • Onboarding new clients to our payment solution.
    • Preparing test payment devices for customers and their point-of-sale providers to assist with their integration and testing efforts.
    • Accurately tracking assets for P2PE audit purposes.
    • Monitoring deployment of updates as we ensure continued compliance with card scheme (Visa/Mastercard/American Express/Diners/Discover/JCB) rules.
    • Working on process improvements to increase the speed of delivery, reduce the risk of mistakes and provide improved visibility of project progress.
    • Liaising directly with clients.
    • Working in a busy, ever-changing environment with multiple clients.
    • Working mostly as part of the team but sometimes autonomously without direct involvement of others.
    • Reporting to the TRANSAXpay Development Manager.
    • Maintaining the attention to detail required to keep track of multiple work streams and keep all involved parties accurately and regularly updated on status.

    What you will bring

    • Must be fully PC literate and with excellent technical aptitude.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office applications is assumed.
    • Familiarity with the Unix command line would be greatly beneficial.
    • Experience within the payments industry would be an advantage, but is not required.
    • Motivation to work in the payments industry in role that is often client facing.
    • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be confident in dealing directly with customers on business and technical topics.
    • Team skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally as well as externally.
    • Flexibility, versatility, dependability.
