    Are you an experienced sales professional with a passion for events and a proactive mindset?

    Heritage Portfolio have an exciting 18-month FTC opportunity for an experienced Head of Sales to be a proactive leader of the Heritage Portfolio sales team in Edinburgh.

    This is an exciting, varied opportunity for you to proactively target new business pipeline as well as showcase excellent key account management whilst driving our awesome sales team.

    Heritage Portfolio is a specialist caterer working for discerning clients in buildings of distinction with the aim of helping our clients to create an experience beyond food; Fabulous food is in our DNA, and we are proud to be one of the country's leading event and wedding catering companies.

    You will be carrying out pro-active sales activity in Scotland and driving new sales opportunities into the HPL Scotland venues.

    You will focus on achieving defined sales objectives and targets in the Scotland region through a targeted new business sales strategy.

    You will be responsible for proactive Sales involving some of the most spectacular venues in Edinburgh including Signet Library and Mansfield Traquair.

    As the Head of Sales in our MICE sector (Meetings, Incentives, Conferencing and Exhibitions) you will lead on continuous growth and development across Scotland with high levels of engagement driving sales.

    We see this role as an integral part of our overall sales strategy to drive growth and provide our customers with a motivating and exemplary sales experience.

    You will be a strong Sales professional with experience and knowledge of the MICE market, be able to build excellent client relationships and achieve sales targets consistently.

    Actively search for new business and accounts and build and strengthen relationships with these customers to drive profitable sales revenue into the portfolio to achieve venue sales budgets.

    Take responsibility for an allocated portfolio of MICE accounts, undertaking strategic account management, developing, maintaining, servicing, and contracting the allocated account base and working closely with the reactive sales team, proactive sales team and Event Design team who will assist with the processing and delivery requirements from these accounts.

    Conduct key sales activities such as powerful site inspections, client appointments, presentations, familiarisation trips to deliver increased market penetration.

    To work with the wider Heritage Portfolio team and immerse yourself in the business.

    Support continuous growth and development across Scotland with high levels of engagement, superb morale and motivation and to work seamlessly with the wider sales team.

    A track record in the events Industry in particular venue sales.
    Excellent telephone manner.
    Financial reporting and commercial understanding
