- Creating and implementing a strategic targeted programme of Trust and Foundation Fundraising
- Developing and implementing tailored funding applications, with responsibility for ensuring compliance in any agreements
- Nurturing individual and corporate relationships with a view to securing fundraising opportunities in excess of £5k
- Creating opportunities to meet and develop existing relationships with supporters
- Ensuring all administrative plans for the Major Donor programme
- Building new relationships and helping promote the FOUR PAWS UK brand
- Producing regular reports and updates to the Country Director and working proactively with members of the senior leadership team
- Several years of experience managing major donor programmes within animal welfare organisations
- A confident fundraiser with broad experience on fundraising principles, major donor programmes and corporate giving
- A keen networker with a proven track record of delivering against fundraising targets
- Substantial experience in developing corporate relationships
- Experience within a multinational organisation is beneficial but not essential
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft office tools
- Willingness to travel to meetings with donors nationally and internationally where called on
- Experience drafting and delivering fundraising strategies is beneficial
- Great affinity to animal welfare and FOUR PAWS vision and mission
