- Evolve the current Data Academy into a comprehensive Data & AI Academy through collaboration with internal teams and experts
- Perform a thorough learning needs analysis to align with business objectives, such as boosting audience engagement
- Utilize learning personas to develop the strategy, format, and content of the Data & AI Academy
- Promote a 'digital first' approach to challenge conventional classroom-based training methods

Role Background
The Financial Times is a leading global business news publisher known for innovation in the media industry, particularly in digital business models and world-class journalism. Within this dynamic and customer-centric organization that operates in a fast-paced digital landscape, the data & analytics team plays a crucial role in driving the FT's success by influencing all aspects of our operations.
In 2023, we introduced the Data Academy, a comprehensive program comprising 17 modules, including in-person training sessions and e-learning modules, aimed at enhancing data fluency across the organization. The success of this initiative has been remarkable, with high attendance numbers and exceptional feedback scores. In 2024, our focus is on establishing AI fluency to build on our existing data foundations during a pivotal time in the AI revolution.
