- Ecommerce Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive ecommerce strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives. This includes setting ambitious revenue targets, identifying growth opportunities, and optimising the online shopping experience.
- Website Management: Oversee the management and optimisation of our ecommerce website, ensuring it is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimised for conversion. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, development, and marketing, to continuously enhance the site's functionality and performance.
- Digital Marketing: Lead digital marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, and sales across various online channels, including search engine optimisation (SEO), pay-per-click advertising (PPC), email marketing, and social media. Develop and execute campaigns that resonate with our target audience and align with brand messaging.
- Customer Experience: Champion a customer-centric approach to ecommerce, prioritising the delivery of exceptional experiences at every touchpoint. Analyse customer behavior and feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
- Data Analysis and Insights: Utilise data analytics tools and metrics to monitor performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate actionable insights. Regularly assess the effectiveness of ecommerce initiatives, make data-driven decisions, and iterate on strategies to optimise results.
- Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing team of digital and ecommerce professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to team members, empowering them to achieve their full potential.
- Partnerships and Collaborations: Cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborations with relevant stakeholders, including influencers, bloggers, and other brands, to expand our digital reach and drive brand awareness. Negotiate mutually beneficial agreements and oversee the execution of joint initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within digital marketing and ecommerce, ideally within the fashion industry.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, technologies, and best practices, including experience with Shopify, Magento, or similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyse trends, and make data-driven decisions.
