    Description

    A Commercial Manager – Maternity Cover opportunity has arisen to lead and manage operations and support the operations teams regarding compliance, strategy, negotiations, and contract processes.

    You will be based at our Ross-on-Wye Hereford location and this will be a 9 to 12 month Fixed Term Maternity cover contract.


    Responsibilities and Activities:
    Manage the accuracy of the content of Salesforce
    Manage client feedback forms and collate responses, liaising with Operations to ensure continuing high-quality delivery of service and the relevance of all marketing literature
    Manage leads in liaison with Researcher
    Coordinate qualification of all opportunities with Operations Managers
    Manage sales meetings, liaising with BD Manager, Operations Managers, Bid Writer /Researcher and Financial Controller to ensure BD focus in line with sales plan
    Support BD Manager with strategy, compliance, and negotiation
    Bids
    Manage PQQ requests and EOIs
    Manage overall schedule, calendar, and statistics sheet
    Review of RFP/ITT
    Manage kick off meeting to set deadlines
    Manage PPF meeting and own the population of the PPF document, liaising with all parties to ensure completion
    Manage all necessary sign offs are completed
    Manage the accuracy of Salesforce and relevant network folder
    Manage accuracy of project experience table/capability statements
    Manage bid compliance for submission
    Bid writing as required, to support Bid Writer when at max capacity
    Track/manage UN bid results (award values) against competitors for future planning to support strategy

    Manage review of client documentation to ensure bid text remains current to developing needs/strategies of clients and changes to bidding procedures.

    Legal
    Review and update all standard terms and conditions for proposals/bids, liaising with Legal Counsel as necessary
    Populate contracts as necessary
    Manage Award of Contract process with Operations
    Manage contract extension process, liaising with Legal Counsel as necessary and ensuring Operations database is updated
    Manage individual agency agreements and negotiations alongside operations manager
    Manage central contract tracker and project performance – providing Dir of Int Ops with one stop overview.
    Other
    Review and update all Sales/Bids processes in liaison with Office Manager
    Overview of Sales/Bids filing/archiving
    Any other duties as directed by Line Manager

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
    Experience of managing commercial contracts and bid processes and experience of legal compliance,
    Good communication skills and experience of supervising and managing staff,
    Experience of overseeing projects from conception to completion, meeting deadlines and budgets,
    Ideally candidates will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration or CPCM certification.
