    Up to 18 months Apprenticeship

    We are searching for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Sales and Marketing Executive to promote our Conference Centre from a range of clients across the West Midlands region. You will be responsible for driving sales and marketing efforts to promote our conference centre facilities and attract a wide range of clients. Your creativity, exceptional communication skills, and strong sales acumen will be crucial in achieving targets and ensuring the success of our conference centre.

    The ideal candidate will have had some experience of event sales and great customer service skills. You will be organised and able to work successfully and operate across different departments of the organisations. An understanding of the businesses in our region is desirable as is prior experience of attending business networking events. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic professional who thrives in a dynamic and business-centric environment.

    Reporting to the Business Development Director you will assist in reaching departmental targets and the Conference Centre budget. Liaising directly with employers and external stakeholders you will develop new business opportunities and generate bookings for the Centre.

    The role is campus-based from Solihull Blossomfield Road. Travel across the region will be expected.

    Progression to a permanent role at the end of the apprenticeship may be possible for the right candidate.

    Please note if you are selected for the next stage in the process, you will be required to attend the College's premises, unless exceptional circumstances apply.
