    Description

    Do you have previous SEN experience? Want to have more freedom and balance in your work/personal life? Then Textbook Teachers have an opportunity for you

    We are looking for cheerful and resilient individuals with previous SEN experience to aid in delivering dynamic and diverse lessons for children. We need new LSA's to aid our local schools in and around the Spalding area. ( PE6, PE9, PE10, PE11, PE12, PE13)

    The role of an LSA is challenging but rewarding, though your combined mixture of care and support you can see the positive impact it has on the children you work with. In this position you will also assist in their emotional development as well; helping broaden their understanding of boundaries and aid in forming mutual respect between the children. Your work persists and remains with these children providing examples and transferable skills for them to access in the future. LSA's support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) often on an 1:1 basis helping them to fully understand the curriculum. They work in partnership with the teachers to create an engaging and imaginative atmosphere for all children to explore, while providing that extra support to specific individuals.

    The ideal candidate will need to:

    – Have a minimum of 6 months experience in a UK school environment (preferably with different years)– Crate a nurturing and nourishing environment for children to learn in– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt
    – Has strong communication and interactions skills
    – Put the children's learning and needs first while encouraging them through their education
    – Can reliably commute to surrounding areas– Understands and commitment to Safeguarding Procedures

    It would also help to have:

    – A Level 2, Level 3, or HLTA qualification in Support Teaching and Learning – Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education
    – Driving License and own a mode of transport
