    Description
    Join the Intertek SAI Global Business Assurance division as an Operations Field Manager.

    You will be directly responsible for managing the Food and Management System auditors, currently operating under Intertek SAI Global UK & Ireland .

    You will lead the team to drive continuous success ensuring high quality of audit delivery and optimisation of resources.

    The Business Assurance group of Intertek SAI Global provides a full range of business process audit and support solutions, including accredited third-party management systems auditing and certification, second-party supplier auditing, sustainability data verification, process performance analysis, and IRCA-registered auditor training.

    BA helps clients by sharing best practices and new industry requirements and assessing their performance against their own objectives.

    As an Operations Field Manager, with a wealth of experience in certification, you will be expected to engage and support all key stakeholders to ensure business needs are met.

    Minimum 3 years' of work experience within the food sector
    Full UK driving license. Travel and stay away or undertake additional hours to enable completion of key tasks and scheme responsibilities is required.
    Manage a team of auditors, setting and ensuring benchmark performance. Monitor auditor performance to assure achievement of quality and utilisation targets, facilitating improvement actions where required.
    Maintaining auditor competencies, including the management of internal witnessed audits, calibration, training and CPD.
    Collaborating with and supporting the UK sales & marketing teams to promote growth.

    Taking the lead in resolving customer complaints, appeals and nonconformities where relevant to the delivery of audits, and perform trend analysis to drive quality continual improvements.

    Fostering a culture of continual improvement across the field team.
    Delivery of audits to the Business Assurance client base, where required.
    Where required this role may involve the need to travel across the UK.
    Remote. Home Based anywhere in the UK - covering UK wide. Full Time. Permanent
