    Position Insights & Objectives

    In an exciting growth phase, our client is seeking a dynamic sales professional to enhance their existing sales team. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, this hybrid role entails extensive face-to-face customer interactions nationwide.

    Initially, you will undergo comprehensive training and support at their manufacturing site in the North of England to effectively showcase their product portfolio.

    Your duties will encompass managing a blend of key account relationships and new business development, with a focus on nurturing existing partnerships in a 70/30 ratio.

    Your outreach is not limited by geographical constraints, given that some clients have multiple locations. You will join a team engaging with a loyal customer base, yet there is substantial room for growth and expansion, which is actively encouraged.

    Key Roles and Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain new and existing accounts.
    • Identify new business opportunities through independent research and market trend analysis.
    • Showcase the organization's current profile and objectives within the sector by maintaining an active presence in the marketplace.
    • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through effective communication and goal achievement.
    • Lead negotiations and manage expectations with key accounts.
    • Provide timely reports, presentations, and feedback to the broader organization.

    Requirements and Background

    • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a sales role, preferably within the packaging or FMCG industry.
    • Demonstrated aptitude for developing existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities.
    • Proven track record of securing new business opportunities exceeding £100k.
    • Efficiently organize and structure your schedule to maximize customer visits.
    • Ability and willingness to collaborate with various departments such as Design, Technical, and Production.
    • Strong negotiation skills with a knack for recognizing buying signals and closing deals.
    • Familiarity with and experience in FMCG markets.
    • Attentive to detail when handling administrative tasks.
    • Ability to create a positive first impression.
    • Readiness to travel extensively to engage with customers and the broader organization.

    Education, Compensation, & Location

    • Holder of a Full UK Driving Licence.
    • Competitive salary commensurate with experience, negotiable based on qualifications.
