    Job Description ePropelled is a fast-growing leader in magnetics engineering.

    We design intelligent motors, motor controllers, and generators that reduce energy consumption and improve system efficiency at a lower cost in multiple industries.


    The Business Development Manager will take a lead on all UAV Business Development activities within the agreed territory in the UAV market and will be responsible for seeking new business opportunities with existing customers and new prospective customers to drive growth and maximise value for the business.

    The successful candidate will be comfortable managing long, complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and decision-making groups and will be able to demonstrate success in winning new business for both prototype/product development opportunities through to production volumes.


    The Business Development Manager will be responsible for sales for the UAV market primarily, but responsibility may extend to the Sustainable Motors business units.

    Our target customer base typically consists of UAV aircraft / platform manufacturers (drone OEMs) and UAV engine OEMs and approved resellers within the UAV market, resellers and retrofit solution providers for the Sustainability group.

    As Business Development Manager you'll be responsible for the following:

    Must have worked in Product management and in a Bus Dev role to manage large customers in Aerospace Space, preferably in UAV space.

    Leading the development of new business opportunities with target customers across UAV and Sustainable Motors business units
    Building strong relationships with senior and C level contacts within customer organizations, business partners and colleagues alike
    Conducting regular face to face and virtual meetings with key members of customer teams, including senior management
    Supporting sales and commercial teams to identify new product or application opportunities.

    Assisting with the development of sales plans that reflect market intelligence and ensuring that sales activities are aligned with achievement of targets and company initiatives.

    Providing pipeline and activity reports in a timely manner as required, participating in regular sales meetings, and maintaining records in the company CRM system, currently HubSpot.

    Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies.
    Educated to Batchelor's Degree level or equivalent, ideally in Business/Sales related discipline.
    Proven success in winning new business and account management.
    Experience of selling premium products in high quality, high reliability, and safety critical applications
    UAV industry and/or start up business experience an advantage.
