- Oversee incoming legal talent and assist and monitor their integration into the firm.
- Work with HR team and global team to manage all performance review processes, and any ER cases.
- Creating and implementing professional development programmes, retention initiatives and coordinate training needs & coaching.
- Manage the mentor program.
- Monitor time, attendance, overtime, expenses and ensure adherence to firm policies.
- Duty to understand and develop knowledge of the firms practices, staff, knowledge and wider industry knowledge.
- Engage in strategic planning.
- Be degree educated, ideally a legal degree although not essential
- Minimum 6 years attorney development or HR experience, within a Law Firm preferred.
- Proven working knowledge of the industry, best practices and techniques for successful development.
- Knowledge of relevant software (Workday, Micron CE Manager, viDesktop) with ability to pick up new programmes.
- Knowledge of budgeting process.
- Ability to work and engage with staff members of varying seniority and roles
- Strong time-management skills.
