    As ProductionManager leading a team of 6 colleagues the selectivebrush plating experts you will direct and coordinate all activitiesrelating to scheduling maintaining and delivering world leadingContract Service and Manufacturing. You will support internal andexternal customers aiming for profitable sales growth in a timelyand professionalmanner.

    Tasks

    Whatwill you do

    • Assignpersonnel to jobs according to priorities complexities and skillsof individual technicians.
    • Direct platingtechnicians / production staff to ensure that operations areperformed in accordance with company procedures industry standardsand customer requirements.
    • Ensure the timelyefficient and effective completion of customer orders. Reportdelays as soon as possible.
    • Coordinate/organise/support production and/orsubcontract services such as pre/post grinding additional toolinginspection such as measurement and NDT testing scales calibrationLoler inspections system audits etc.
    • Maintainhousekeeping of all site areas workshop / production / office /communal / etc to a high standard ensuring they conform to EHSrequirements. Ensure all equipment is maintained and kept in safeworking order. Plan/organise all maintenance needs.
    • Interpret specifications blueprints customerrequirements and work orders to provide for accurate processinformation and support for customer quotations.
    • When necessary establish and maintain liaisonwith relevant staff or customer representatives to help resolve anytechnical/schedule enquiries that arise prior during and afterplating operations.
    • Support Quality SystemsCoordinator to ensure the company attains and maintains all qualityaccreditations by ensuring these systems are adhered to by alldepartments. Direct and confirm necessary logs documentsnonconformances are all up todate and ensure completion through torectification.
    • Schedule/plan staff holidaydates to ensure minimum disruption to normal working duties.
    • Support Purchasing with technical requirementsof company needs from suppliers.
    • Coordinate/organise/support manufacturing withstock rotation expiration stock levels maintenance etc. Resolve anyissues as they arise.
    • To provide a bridgebetween office and production staff assisting all parties inachieving targets and providing solutions where needed.
    • Recommends measures to improve productionmethods equipment performance quality.
    • Provideand support excellent customer service to all internal and externalcustomers.
    • Coordinate/organise/support staffPDRs development plans any HR issues.
    • Achievetarget and goals as set at any time by your line Manager to assistin achieving the companys objectives.
    • Completeall reports as requested at any time by your Line Manager.
    • Any other reasonableduties.

    Requirements

    Whatdo we look for

    • GCSE /A level or equivalent education
    • 5 yearsprevious experience in a team management role within a relatedindustry
    • Competent in Microsoft and Sage basedsystems
    • Position holder has knowledge of locallegislation and regulations. Has adequate knowledge of financialsand has following characteristics: leader analytical resultoriented creative flexible team player and people leader.
    • Must have excellent communication abilitiesand is fluent in English (verbal and writing).
