    Group Indirect Tax Manager

    Location: Hybrid working - home & our offices in London (once a fortnight)

    Working pattern: Part Time, 2 / 3 days per week

    Contract Type: Permanent

    Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum pro rata

    We are looking for a Group Indirect Tax Manager to join our team.

    We are looking to appoint a Group Indirect Tax Manager on a part time hybrid basis, with travel to London required, who will report to the Head of Group Tax (HOGT). The role represents a great opportunity for a technically strong indirect tax professional with excellent people skills to be part of a motivated, international team.

    You will support the Head of Group Tax in partnering with local business units and will focus on ensuring indirect tax compliance requirements are met and the group's tax policies and procedures are followed (initially in the UK, Ireland and UAE).

    This is an excellent opportunity for an outstanding Tax Manager, who is looking to expand their skills and build their career with an industry leader.

    What you'll bring to the role

  • Either ATT and / or CTA Qualified (desirable). Qualified by experience will also be considered.
  • Experienced in the preparation and review of UK VAT returns and overseas sales tax returns.
  • Attention to detail to be able to assist in reviewing contracts and legal documentation from a indirect tax perspective.
  • Excellent communication skills, with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels and a collaborative approach to working with team members.
  • Strong organisational skills to archive and file tax documentation across businesses.
  • Familiar with relevant UK accounting standards, best practice and US GAAP.
  • Strong work ethic, with ability to work efficiently with a strong results orientation.
  • A general understanding of overseas taxes and withholding taxes.
