    Located at our new GMP Manufacturing facility in Harwell, UK, the Maintenance Planner and Scheduler plays a pivotal role in the effective planning, scheduling, and coordination of all maintenance activities.

    Your efforts ensure that maintenance work is planned, scheduled, and executed safely, supporting the uptime and reliability of our GxP/non-GxP process and support equipment.

    Developing and managing the maintenance schedule to ensure timely execution of maintenance activities.
    Supervising external contractors and ensuring compliance with Moderna's EHS policies and procedures.
    Utilizing the CMMS for scheduling, tracking, and reporting maintenance activities.
    Coordinating with procurement and inventory teams to ensure availability of spare parts and materials.
    Leading the planning of shutdowns, turnarounds, and outages with effective resource allocation.

    Supporting the development and control of the maintenance budget and participating in internal and external audits related to maintenance activities.

    Your commitment to enhancing maintenance operations and equipment reliability shows a deep sense of ownership and responsibility towards Moderna's mission.

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
    ~ Relevant certification in maintenance planning and scheduling, such as CMRP or similar, is advantageous.
    ~5+ years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Proficiency in using CMMS (ideally Maximo) and other maintenance planning tools.
    ~ Technical understanding of maintenance work processes and the ability to read and interpret technical documentation and drawings.
    ~ Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance and experience in implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
    ~ Familiarity with standard maintenance practices, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
    ~ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is required.
    ~ Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify issues, and develop solutions to enhance maintenance operations and equipment reliability.
    ~ Ability to represent the organization's interests, objectives, and policies in a professional and responsible manner.
